Paleacea is an unusual, fuzzy variety with twisting leaves. It is extremely hardy. Because of its trichomes (fuzzy white covering on leaves) it can absorb water very easily. When grown in a humid environment it almost doesn't need to be watered.

Special Care: Be careful not to overwater, only a light misting weekly will be sufficient. Without enough air movement to dry out quickly it tends to rot.

Air Plants are easy to grow with an unlimited number of uses since they only require water (no soil). Most varieties just need watered 1-2 times per week. Although it may be a little more or less depending on the weather. Air plants grow best with bright light, but not in direct sun. They can be outside in the shade during warm summer temps, but make great houseplants year round.
