Adromischus cristatus, or the crinkle-leaf plant is a small succulent variety native to South Africa. It is sometimes referred to as a Key Lime Pie plant. This variety is the easiest Adromischus variety to care for. Plump wedge shaped leaves with wavy ends grow on hairy brown aerial roots. Grows in full sun. Adromischus is a small clumping variety of succulent with unique, fascinating leaves. They are very easy to keep as houseplants. Adromischus are frost tender succulents; they need protection from freezing temperatures. Similar to other succulents they grow best in free-draining soil, like a cactus mix. They also prefer full to part sun and light watering.
