Aeonium Blushing Beauty is a well named variety. Beautiful, tight clusters of green rosettes blush a soft crimson in the summer sun or when somewhat stressed by drought. Looks fantastic mixed with other summer annuals or when grown in terracotta pots. Frost tender, but can be grown indoors during winter if it has enough light.

Succulent Overview:

Aeoniums grow in a bush shape with rosettes on the ends of long stems. Aeoniums grow most actively from winter thru spring. During this time they should be watered whenever the soil dries out. They also appreciate a diluted fertilizer during their growing period. In the summer heat Aeoniums are semi-dormant, reducing their need for water. Green varieties will look better with some light shade while dark varieties have the best coloring in full sun. Because Aeonium like conditions that aren't too hot or too cold or too dry, they are very adaptable as a houseplant. These easy care succulent plants look great in containers or in the landscape of temperate climates. Similar to Sempervivum, most aeoniums will die after flowering. Aeonium are native to the Canary Islands, Cape Verde Isles and Morocco.
