Sedum anacampseros (Hylotelephium anacampseros, Evergreen Orpine, Love Restorer) is an unusual alpine sedum with beautiful geometry to the leaves. Large, round blue-green leaves grow in a clumping, non-spreading form. Towards late summer Anacampseros produce spikes of lilac colored flowers. Despite the common name, this sedum is only semi-evergreen and benefits from being cut back to prevent it looking too leggy.
Native to Southern Europe, this alpine plants will grow best with bright light, good drainage and occasional water. However, it is an easy to grow variety that isn't too picky and can thrive in many locations.
