Divergens grows in a low mound of round, bead-like foliage. The shiny green leaves turn dark red in the sun. This sedum is a great variety for hot locations. Yellow flowers appear from June to July. Plant in full sun for best results. Sedum divergens, or Pacific stonecrop is native from Alaska to California. It is more tolerant of wet winters than some varieties.
