The trailing branches of this plant are covered with striped, watermelon shaped beads. The dark, watermelon like markings on the leaves become more pronounced with brighter sunlight. As a trailing variety, allow String of Watermelon to spill over the edge of planters. Senecio herreianus takes bright sun and little water to thrive. Makes a great houseplant in a bright location.
