Straight out of a Dr Seuss book this one is also called the Fuzzywuzzy air plant. Its contorted leaves from a bulbous base are covered in ashy scales that give the plant a brilliant, frosty look. The inflorescences are huge with purple flowers.

Air Plants are easy to grow with an unlimited number of uses since they only require water (no soil). Most varieties just need watered 1-2 times per week. Although it may be a little more or less depending on the weather. Air plants grow best with bright light, but not in direct sun. They can be outside in the shade during warm summer temps, but make great houseplants year round.
