Description
Velutina Tillandsia has long, delicate looking leaves leaves. This air plant variety is pretty easy to keep happy. They are normally olive green in color, but they turn red with more light exposure. Velutina air plant also turns bright red when it's blooming.
This particular air plant option is yellow since it has been enhanced to add a pop of color (sprayed with non-toxic, long lasting floral tint).

Cold Hardiness Zones:
This plant prefers temperatures between 50-90°F. It can grow outdoors in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 10-13; if growing in a zone colder than this it should be grown indoors when night temperatures are below 50°F.
Tillandsia Air Plant Overview:
Air Plants are easy to grow with an unlimited number of uses since they only require water (no soil). Most varieties just need watered 1-2 times per week. Although it may be a little more or less depending on the weather. Air plants grow best with bright light, but not in direct sun. They can be outside in the shade during warm summer temps, but make great houseplants year round.

We pull, pack and ship within 1-3 business days. Orders are shipped Monday thru Friday. We do this so that your order can get to you as quickly as possible.
