This tillandsia looks like it just drifted down out of a snow cloud. It's thick covering of fine white hair gives it a frosted look. Tectorum Ecuador has a tight, extremely furry texture. This is considered one of the hardiest air plant varieties.

Specific Care Instructions:
Special Care: It does NOT need much water at all. Only mist it once every 1 or 2 weeks... it can even go longer. Only mist the plant, don't soak it. Grows best in full or part shade with low humidity and good air flow.
Tillandsia Air Plant Overview:
Air Plants are easy to grow with an unlimited number of uses since they only require water (no soil). Most varieties just need watered 1-2 times per week. Although it may be a little more or less depending on the weather. Air plants grow best with bright light, but not in direct sun. They can be outside in the shade during warm summer temps, but make great houseplants year round.

We ship year round, throughout the United States. We do not currently ship to international destinations.
Shipping rates are based on the weight of your order. Once you have added items to your cart, simply select 'Shipping: Add Info' under the cart subtotal. Once you have entered your basic shipping info you will get a shipping estimate for your order.
We pull, pack and ship within 1-3 business days. Orders are shipped Monday thru Friday. We do this so that your order can get to you as quickly as possible. Once your order has been shipped you can generally expect it to be delivered within 3-5 days. Youngs Garden Shop is not responsible for any delays due to the shipper.
Returns Policy
If there is any sort of issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds or replacements for damaged plants will require photos.
