Tillandsia usneoides, Spanish moss, is an easy to care for variety that grows in long trailing, silver bunches. In its native habitats it can survive a couple months without rainfall, but will die after more than three months of drought. Spanish moss is very good at adapting to its environment, so it can be grown in most locations around your home. It grows fast and likes bright light.

They can be outside in the shade during warm summer temps, but make great houseplants year round.
