Senecio herreianus String of Watermelon

A more difficult to find trailing succulent, String of Watermelon is a great addition to your succulent collection. The trailing branches of this plant are covered with striped, watermelon shaped beads. The dark, watermelon like markings on the leaves become more pronounced with brighter sunlight. As a trailing variety, allow String of Watermelon to spill over the edge of planters. Senecio herreianus takes bright sun and little water to thrive. Makes a great houseplant in a bright location. Other common names for this plant include String of Raindrops, String of Tears and Gooseberry Plant. Not cold hardy.
