Salix boydii is a small, slow-growing, dwarf, deciduous plant with rounded silver-green leaves. The twisting branches of this compact shrub give it an interesting character, even when it has dropped its leaves in winter. This variety was found in the mountains of Scotland during the Victorian era. Boyd's Willow is very tough plant used by many for its tolerance of deer, drought, pollution and salt.
NOTE: When ordering this variety in the fall or winter it will arrive in a state of shedding its leaves or without leaves since it is deciduous.
