Fenestraria aurantiaca Baby Toes

Baby Toes is a charming and easy to grow succulent with windows at the tip of each tube shaped leaf. Baby Toes Succulent grows in little clusters of finger-like leaves. In their native habitat of southern Africa they grow with only the window of the leaf sticking out of the sandy soil to catch the sunlight. Fenestraria aurantiaca produces multiple large, bright yellow flowers with very narrow petals.

Position Baby Toes where it receives bright sunlight. The leaves of this succulent act like a water meter. When the window on the leaf tip starts to wrinkle then they need more water. If they are being overwatered then the leaves will crack.
