Description
Dragon's Blood is a sedum work horse. This variety is reliable year after year. It has red scalloped leaves that form a thick groundcover. Once established it tolerates long drought and neglect Must have excellent drainage. Plant in full sun for the thickest foliage and expect it to spread a few inches a year. Dragon's Blood is maroon all year except in the warmest times of the year when it becomes slightly green. Pink flowers bloom in summer. This sedum species is evergreen. Deer resistant.
NOTE: When ordering this variety in the winter it will arrive without all of it's leaves. This is normal since it is semi-deciduous.

Sedum Overview:
Sedum offer lots of variety in texture, color and growth habit. There are both ground cover, trailing varieties as well as varieties that grow in clumps. Like other succulents, sedum grow best with full sun, light watering and excellent drainage. They are an indispensable succulent plant that has a place in any garden or succulent project.

Cute lil rosettes!
I can't believe the big, healthy clump I received! Full of pretty red rosettes that have since grown more leaves. This plant so far has been much more red for me than shown in the pics, which is a good thing for me, I love it! Still has green parts, but the tips are very red and pretty, like little roses. Anyway, I love ordering from this shop! Very nice, healthy plants always.

We ship year round, throughout the United States. We do not currently ship to international destinations.
Shipping rates are based on the weight of your order. Once you have added items to your cart, simply select 'Shipping: Add Info' under the cart subtotal. Once you have entered your basic shipping info you will get a shipping estimate for your order.
We pull, pack and ship within 1-3 business days. Orders are shipped Monday thru Friday. We do this so that your order can get to you as quickly as possible. Once your order has been shipped you can generally expect it to be delivered within 3-5 days. Youngs Garden Shop is not responsible for any delays due to the shipper.
